How to make your own peppermint Sugar Scrubs

Its that time of the season again where our skin is going to start cracking and getting dry! I've been through so many types of sugar scrub recipes and I believe i've finally found the one that fits me perfectly thanks to pinterest!

I have been using my own sugar scrubs since i started making them about a year

With some many bath and body product suppliers out there, i've found a couple i keep going back too,   wholesalesuppliesplus,  Naturesgardencandles,  rusticescentuals you can find the recipe that best suites you and your skins needs so please do your self a favor and check out these sites.

this is the Recipe I have created and i won't be selfish like most people that don't like to give out there secret.

  • White Granulated Sugar
  • Shae Butter
  • Cocoa butter
  • coconut oil
  • Peppermint Essential Oil
  • pink colorant - mica is perfect for soap making, lotion making, lip balm, mineral make-up, shower gel, body scrub and DIY projects. If your not big on the oily feeling of a sugar scrub i've used a Emulsifying Wax it soaks up most of the oils and gives the sugar scrub more of a sandy feeling but it leaves your skin very smooth once you since off. all you would need to do is melt the butters and the emulsifying wax in a double boiler or i've gotten a pan put some water in it and put the metal wax pouring cup inside and melted it that way. Once you have melted all the liquids let it sit to cool down then depending on how much sugar scrub you want to make is how many cups of sugar you will pour into your plastic, metal or glass bowl i usually add about 2-3 cups of sugar because i make enough to sell at the craft shows i go to.
